Progress, Not Perfection!
Well, look who’s back! If we didn’t know any better, we’d say you missed us.
We’re here to announce a pretty awesome update.
Will you love it? Yes.
Will it aid you in your language journey? Yes.
Will it grant you three fantastic wishes? Sorry, but that’s not in the budget this time around.
Linear progress bar
The ability to see how you are doing during a review session is a powerful thing, and we want to empower you. So, from now on, you will see a progress bar in the header while you are answering flashcards.
You might be asking yourself, what are the rules to this?
When you mark a flashcard answer as correct, you will see your progress movement on the bar. Any incorrect answers will not show any progress. Incorrect cards are recycled within the review session for you to try again later. When these cards return during the “revisit” section, you will get sweet credit if you answer them correctly.
For minimal pairs, the progress bar will move forward once you mark both sounds on the flashcard as correct. Tapping just one of the sounds as correct will not move the bar.
